Ruth Beaglehole: A Compassionate Guide to Parenting with Nonviolence

More than a year after Ruth’s passing, we are grateful that a group of nonviolent parenting educators has been able to bring into the world a project that was so close to her heart: her guide, A Compassionate Guide to Parenting with Nonviolence, created by Ruth Beaglehole with Kim Pesenti.

On Ruth’s birthday, we’ll gather to celebrate Ruth, her life, her work, and this beautiful gift she left for all of us.

For those joining us in person, we’ll celebrate potluck-style, sharing food and community together as we honor Ruth and welcome her guide into the world. For those who can’t be there in person, we’ll also have a Zoom option so you can join us from wherever you are.

Please RSVP below, and indicate whether you’ll be attending in person or via Zoom. Your RSVP will help us know how many people to expect and make sure we have the appropriate space. Zoom information and additional event details will also be shared with registered guests in advance of August 30.

For those who would like to stay afterward, a Nonviolent Communication Workshop led by Nefesh Kin Kathy Simon will follow from 1–4pm in the same space in The Commons. Separate RSVP is required for that, please register for the Workshop here.
