Shabbat in the Park
July 17 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm PDT

Join Nefesh in Griffith Park for a Shabbat picnic and service!
We’ll gather to eat and hang out at 6:00 with songs and study starting at 6:30. Stick around for more blanket hopping, schmoozing, and musical offerings – we’ll welcome Shabbat at 7:30pm.
What to bring: friends and family! Something to eat and drink and a dessert to share! Ground cover, extra water, bug spray, and a camping lantern also recommended!

Dessert Potluck Oneg follows the service
Location: Griffith Park, Crystal Springs Picnic Area (Pad B)
Health & Safety: This is an outdoor event with ample space for distancing. Masks are optional. There’s plenty of shade in the park and we’ll have water, hand fans, and some water misters. Please take care to stay hydrated.
Parking & Accessibility: There is ample parking surrounding the picnic area.

The park includes a grassy field as well as paved pathways leading from the parking areas to a paved recreation area with tables and benches and accessible, gender neutral bathrooms. The ceremony will include acoustic music and amplified speech.
