Nefesh Queer Book Club 🏳️🌈
February 21, 2021 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm PST
Hi Nefesh Kin (and not-yet-kin),
We invite you to join our Nefesh Queer Jewish book club. In queer book club, we plan to learn, discuss, and schmooze over literature written by and/or about queer Jews.
We meet one Sunday a month from 3-4:30pm PT starting Sunday, December 20th, 2020.
February 21: We’ll discuss the second part of Queer Jews anthology edited by David Shneer and Cary Aviv (Part 2: Identity, pg 29-100). PDF version is available here; if you prefer to obtain a hard copy, you can search at an indie bookstore near you here.
Additionally, we are looking for additional folks to facilitate our book group meetings. If you are interested and would like to know more, please reach out to Ellen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to celebrating the lives and stories of queer jews with you!
