We are excited to celebrate Chanukah this year with our Light Up Nefesh Silent Auction, culminating in the first night of lights with Light Up Nefesh: Game Night! Get your tickets now.

Chanukah is right around the corner, and I’m helping put together a light-hearted and fun event for the first night. We’re going to have a Nefesh game show on Zoom. That’s right, your dreams of being a game show contestant can come true from the safety and comfort of your own home. The show is called Come On Down, You’re Already Here! It will be on Thursday, December 10th at 8:30 pm Pacific (so you’ll have plenty of time for dinner and latkes beforehand). We’re hoping to have a night of fun and laughs together, but also raise a bit of money to keep Nefesh going strong.  

We’re going to have all sorts of fun and unique prizes. NPR has tote bags; we’ll have custom haikus from Nefesh Kin Phil Kaye, a personal bedtime story from Rabbi Susan, a selfie from a cat, fresh tangerines, and more. This could be the perfect Chanukah gift for someone on your list and a great way to sustain our community.
