SUNDAY, MAY 31, 2O2O at 7 PM
NOW IS THE TIME FOR GOOD PEOPLE NOT TO REMAIN SILENT
PASADENA CITY HALL IS THE PLACE
(MEET NEAR THE MACK AND JACKIE ROBINSON STATUE)

When asked, where were you… what did you do…what did you say… What will be your answer?
We are all joined together as part of the human race. When one part of the body
is in pain or is being abused, the entire body feels the discomfort.

Across our nation many people are in pain for the unconscionable killing of Gregory Floyd and so many others.
Mr. Floyd is the latest victim of a historically sanctioned activity that puts the peace of our nation at risk.
Will you come and stand with us to be counted as one who stood in a non-violent protest against the brutality that keeps us locked in the past?
Will you say I didn’t just watch; I came, I stood, and I said no more!!

Good people everywhere must not be silent any longer! Stand up, speak up, wake up!!

WE WILL BE WEARING MASKS AND OBSERVING PHYSICAL DISTANCING BECAUSE THIS ACTION IS ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF LIFE AS SACRED.

Bring a candle … for lighting or electric to turn on.

Part of this action will be eight minutes of sustained noise to represent the eight minutes officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee on George Floyd’s neck, lynching him while his cries were ignored. Please bring something (bells, noisemakers, pots to bang, your voice to wail) to fill the air with sound during that time.

This event is planned to end at 7:45 pm.

Parking is available on the street, in the All Saints Church parking lot on the southeast corner of Euclid and Walnut, and in the First Baptist Church parking garage.
