Mussar, Middot, and Gratitude in a Time of Pandemic

Nefesh is a middot-driven community. What does that mean?

Middot is the plural of Middah, a value, and middot practice is called Mussar. Mussar (or Musar) is a Jewish spiritual practice that gives concrete instructions on how to live a meaningful and ethical life.

Rabbi Susan Goldberg explains mussar and the middot very well here (Instagram video below), and we encourage you to join us and Nefesh Kin for our middot work.
